Perhaps you’ve been to one of our concerts and found yourself thinking, “I wish I could do that.”

The good news is: you absolutely can.

Grantham Choral Society is a friendly and welcoming unauditioned choir, open to singers of all backgrounds and experience levels. Whether you read music confidently or are completely new to choral singing, you will find plenty of support and encouragement. In fact, we’re committed to helping you feel supported during your first few months with the choir. You’ll be introduced to one of our experienced members who will act as your ‘buddy’. Your buddy will help you with any questions and ensure that if there’s something about the music that you are uncertain about you are able to raise it in a way that feels comfortable for you.

Under the direction of David Humphreys, rehearsals are engaging, inspiring, and fun. You’ll have access to various rehearsal aids, including bespoke videos, available to help you practise effectively at home.

Especially if you have not sung with a choir recently, you  might want to try us out for a few weeks before reaching a decision. We give you all the support you need during this trial period, and you won’t be asked to pay a subscription.

Above all, we love singing wonderful music together, and we would be delighted to welcome you to a rehearsal.
